Mallory Knipe is our Social Work Program Director in the Social and Behavioral Sciences department; she has been teaching at North Central for three years. She believes the Love Your Neighbor Initiative is important because it is a way for us to minister to our neighbors but also being able to serve them. Social work students have been involved in the community in a variety of different ways. Students raised money to provided meals for the Hiawatha homeless encampment. They also used the remainder of the money to create personal hygiene bags for homeless Native American youth through a partnership with the Ain Duh Yung Center.
