Students in our ASL program are a variety of opportunities to serve not just within North Central but out in our community as well. Students are required to 10 hours of community service a year which in the past has included interpreting for clients, working with deaf and hard of hearing children in schools, providing interpreting service in education settings, and attending and volunteering for Deaf Missions Interpreting Conference in Omaha, NE. The ASL department prides itself on being active participants in making our community accessible, loving and caring.
